• The company was founded in 1992 as a cooperative society GAIZIŅŠ, merging the sawmill, carpentry and construction staff of the Soviet farm "Gaizins". Over time, many of the company's founders went out of business, and the company has been owned and run by two families for several decades.

• In the 90s of the last century, KS GAIZIŅŠ was a multidisciplinary company engaged in logging, wood pre-processing, production of frame boards and packaging boards, as well as other types of wood processing. At the beginning of this century, the company employed more than 200 people at a time.

• Since 2008, KS GAIZIŅŠ has specialized in the production of glued wood. They are mostly various glue laminated window and door scantlings made of pine wood. Pine and ash panels are also produced on a small scale.

• After the company's specialization and modernization in 2018, KS GAIZIŅŠ currently employs around 70 people in two shifts and 10 administrative staff.
